The Exploration and Space Communications (ESC) Projects Division at Goddard Space Flight Center plays a critical role in nearly every mission that NASA launches. While Space Communications is what we are known for, ESC is also responsible for the management, development and implementation of various flight projects within NASA. We provide management services to some of NASA's most cutting edge projects, allowing NASA scientists to collect data on the most pressing scientific questions of our time. - Exploration Systems Projects
Exploration Systems Projects (ESP) serve as the focal point for the Center's implementation activities within the Exploration Systems Mission Directorate's (ESMD) Constellation Program. Since its inception, ESP has expanded to include support to ESMD by taking on the UPC Payloads Project. The ESP team continues to grow and makes significant contributions in a variety of disciplines spanning project management, systems engineering, disciplined engineering, and mission assurance.
